MICROLIGHT RECORD 1988

Dr. Vijaypat Singhania had undertaken the fastest solo flight in a Microlite Aircraft from U.K. to India. He established the new world record in August / September 1988. This 23 day flight has been recorded in the Guinness book of world record.

Dr. Singhania braved high winds, sand storms, hundreds of miles of open seas and hours upon hours inside his cramped cockpit, to beat a 34 days speed record set earlier this year by a British journalist.
